The Right Image Approach

A Kitchen That Works
As Hard As You Do

A kitchen remodel in Los Angeles is rarely just about the finishes. It's about the layout that never worked — the island you've wanted since you bought the house — the wall between the kitchen and the living room that makes the whole space feel smaller than it is. It's about finally getting it right.

Right Image Builders handles kitchen remodels differently than most contractors you'll interview. We don't subcontract the tile to one crew, the cabinetry to another, and the plumbing to a third — then hope the schedules align. Our team does all of it: the demo, the framing, the rough plumbing and electrical, the cabinetry installation, the countertop templating and installation, the tile, the finish carpentry, the paint. One crew, one schedule, one point of contact.

We pull every permit through LADBS or your city's building department. We handle plan check responses, structural coordination when walls come out, and final inspections. When we hand you the keys to your new kitchen, the permit is closed — not still open six months later because a "contractor" skipped the inspection.

From a $40,000 cabinet and countertop refresh in Sherman Oaks to a $180,000 full layout transformation with structural work in Beverly Hills — every project gets the same level of attention, the same fixed-price contract, and Vladimir personally on-site throughout.

What We Build

Full Scope,
Nothing Farmed Out

01

Custom & Semi-Custom Cabinetry

We work with trusted LA cabinet manufacturers on both full-custom and semi-custom programs — dovetail drawer boxes, soft-close hardware, integrated organizational systems. Shaker, slab, Eurostyle, inset, glass fronts, open shelving — your specification, built and installed by our team without a cabinet-only subcontractor.

02

Stone & Quartz Countertops

We work directly with stone fabricators — eliminating the middleman markup that most contractors build in. Quartz (Silestone, Cambria, Caesarstone, MSI), natural marble (Calacatta, Statuario, Carrara), quartzite, porcelain slabs, granite. Waterfall edges, integrated sinks, matched backsplash, pot filler rough-in — all in scope.

03

Layout Redesign & Structural Work

Opening up a kitchen to the living room often means removing a load-bearing wall. We coordinate the structural engineering, beam sizing, temporary shoring, and LVL installation — all permitted through LADBS or your city's building department. This is handled under our contract, not handed off to a separate structural contractor you have to manage.

04

Tile, Backsplash & Flooring

Large-format porcelain (24×24, 24×48, book-matched slabs), handmade ceramic, natural stone, subway, zellige, herringbone, chevron — installed by our in-house tile crew with proper Schluter or similar edge/transition systems. Heated floor rough-in available. We don't outsource tile to a separate crew on a different schedule.

05

Appliance Integration

Panel-ready refrigerators, integrated dishwashers, range hood design and venting (exterior venting or recirculating where structural allows), pot filler rough-in and installation, under-cabinet lighting (hardwired LED), microwave drawer rough-in, wine fridge cutout — all planned and built before cabinets go in, not hacked in after.

06

Electrical, Plumbing & Permits

Kitchen electrical is complex — dedicated circuits for refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, range, and disposal; GFCI protection throughout; under-cabinet lighting circuits; island outlet placement per code. Plumbing includes supply and drain for island sinks, pot filler, and dishwasher. All rough-in under permit, all inspected and signed off before finishes go in.

Kitchen Remodeling FAQ

Questions We
Hear Every Day

How long does a kitchen remodel take in Los Angeles?+
A kitchen remodel in Los Angeles typically takes 5–8 weeks from the construction start date. Projects involving layout changes — removing load-bearing walls, moving plumbing lines, or relocating the electrical panel — add 1–2 weeks. We provide a committed milestone schedule before construction begins, not a range estimate that gets abandoned the moment demo starts.
Do you pull all the permits for a kitchen remodel?+
Yes, completely. Right Image Builders handles every permit — LADBS submissions, plan check responses, structural drawings when walls are involved, and final inspection scheduling. LA has a patchwork of building jurisdictions (LADBS for unincorporated LA County, separate departments for Beverly Hills, Burbank, Pasadena, etc.) — we know them all and navigate them on your behalf. You never visit a permit office.
Do I need to vacate my home during a kitchen remodel?+
Most homeowners stay in the home. We seal the work zone with plastic barriers and floor protection, schedule noisy demo during agreed hours, and maintain a clean site daily. You will not have access to the kitchen for cooking during the active construction phase — most clients set up a temporary kitchen in another room. We discuss all of this at the pre-construction meeting so there are no surprises.
Can you remove a wall to create an open-concept kitchen?+
Yes, and we do this regularly. Load-bearing wall removal requires a structural engineer to design the beam and connection, temporary shoring during construction, and a permit through your local building department. We coordinate all of this under our contract — you don't hire a separate structural engineer or manage a separate structural contractor. The beam, the shoring, the permit, the inspection: all in our scope.
What countertop materials do you install?+
We install quartz (Silestone, Cambria, Caesarstone, MSI Q-Quartz), natural marble (Calacatta, Statuario, Carrara, Arabescato), quartzite (Super White, Fantasy Brown, Taj Mahal), granite, large-format porcelain slabs, and butcher block. We work directly with stone fabricators — no middleman. Waterfall edges, mitered edges, integrated undermount sinks, and matched backsplash tile are all part of our scope.

We hired Right Image Builders for a full kitchen remodel and couldn't be happier. Vladimir personally showed up to every major milestone. The fixed-price contract was exactly what we needed — no surprise invoices, no scope creep. Our kitchen looks like it belongs in a magazine. The countertop-to-backsplash transition alone is flawless.
